Newly remastered for vinyl by Jeffrey Norman, featuring Plangent Processes tape restoration and speed correction. Produced for release by Grateful Dead archivist and legacy manager, David Lemieux. Limited Edition of 7, 600 "The fifth show of The Grateful Dead's comeback tour in June 1976 finds the band firing on all cylinders as they settle back into life on the road. A setlist filled with older material ("Candyman, " "Eyes Of The World, " "Tennessee Jed"), new material ("Might As Well, " "Lazy Lightning" "Supplication, " "Samson and Delilah"), and new arrangements of classics from the Dead's early days ("St. Stephen, "Dancing In The Street"), this new iteration of The Grateful Dead featuring the return of Mickey Hart is one of the most powerful and precise versions of the band to date. With the Wall Of Sound retired, the Dead were playing the intimate confines of small theatres for the first time in years, and the perfection they achieved on this tour is on full display on June 11, 1976, in Boston. The magnificence of the vocal arrangements is one of the many new sonic highlights of the 1976 Grateful Dead, many Dead Heads saying the vocal harmonies never sounded as great as they did in June 1976. Songs like "Looks Like Rain" and "The Music Never Stopped" show off this renewed focus on the spectacular vocals the Dead were able to achieve." - David Lemieux

Label:
Rhino Records (2) – R1 728628, Rhino Records (2) – 603497808427
Format:
5 x Vinyl, LP, 180g
Box Set, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition
Country:
Worldwide
Released:
Apr 18, 2026
Genre:
Rock
Style:
Psychedelic Rock
A1 Might As Well
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
6:09
A2 Mama Tried
Written-By – Haggard*
3:24
A3 Tennessee Jed
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
9:03
A4 Cassidy
Written-By – Weir*, Barlow*
4:30
B1 Candyman
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
8:37
B2 Big River
Written-By – Cash*
5:41
C1 Scarlet Begonias
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
10:36
C2 Looks Like Rain
Written-By – Weir*, Barlow*
8:11
D1 It Must Have Been The Roses
Written-By – Hunter*
7:23
D2 Lazy Lightning
Written-By – Weir*, Barlow*
2:53
D3 Supplication
Written-By – Weir*, Barlow*
4:52
E1 Brown-Eyed Women
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
6:09
E2 Promised Land
Written-By – Berry*
3:37
F1 St. Stephen
Written-By – Garcia*, Lesh*, Hunter*
9:44
F2 Dancing In The Street
Written-By – Hunter*, Gaye*, Stevenson*
12:10
G1 The Music Never Stopped
Written-By – Weir*, Barlow*
5:47
G2 Ship Of Fools
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
7:29
G3 Samson And Delilah
Arranged By – Weir*
Written-By – Traditional
6:03
H Sugaree
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
10:40
I1 Sugar Magnolia
Written-By – Weir*, Hunter*
6:29
I2 Eyes Of The World
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
13:20
J1 Stella Blue
Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter*
10:56
J2 Sunshine Daydream
Written-By – Weir*, Hunter*
3:29
J3 Johnny B.
