It features mostly original compositions - four by Pineda and three by Tiner - with influences ranging from Ellington to Chopin, from Stravinsky to Kenny Wheeler. The first side of the LP closes with a heartfelt interpretation of “Silence”, a composition by their mutual mentor Charlie Haden.
