In 2022, Om celebrated it's 50th anniversary with the album called 50. One month before it's release, Fredy Studer passed away. \"In the spirit of survival, Om carried on, touring to support 50 and adding two drummers to fill the titan Studer's shoes,\" writes Kurt Gottschalk in the liner notes, adding: \"Om steps into it's second demi-siècle as an energetic and insightful outfit.\" On Südpol, long-time members Urs Leimgruber, Christy Doran and Bobby Burri are joined by master percussionists Gerry Hemingway and Tony Buck.
