Hard-hitting but sparser, fueled by the dynamic rhythms of the new group of studio musicians dubbed Roots Radics, by the early Eighties, dancehall reggae was hitting around the world * This collection has some of the biggest hits of the pre-digital dancehall era by such stars as Yellowman, Eek-A-Mouse, Sugar Minott and Barrington Levy - all of whom began touring around the world - as well as the all-time classic ""Bam Bam"" by Sister Nancy. Also included are some rare gems such as the original version of ""Dem A Lick Shot"" by Michael

Tracklist:

Jah Thomas: Dance Pon the Corner

Barrington Levy: Shine Eye Girl

Eek-A-Mouse: Wa Do Dem

Sister Nancy: Bam Bam

Sugar Minott: Level Vibes (12"" Mix)

Michael Palmer: Dem a Lick Shot (Original Version) (12"" Mix)

Tristan Palmer: Entertainment (12"" Mix)

Yellowman: Duppy or Gunman

Wayne Jarrett: Saturday Night Jamboree (12"" Mix)

Barry Brown: Cool Pon Your Corner (12"" Mix)

Anthony Johnson: Gunshot

Frankie Paul: War Is in the Dance

UPC: 016351457820
Label: Shanachie
Release Date: 10.23.26
Format: CD

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0830/7018/9810/files/packshot-roots-radics-revolution-various-roots-radics-revolution-various-cd-cd-relix.jpg?v=1791897125
