Nashville's All Them Witches hit a particular stride with this 2015 release, leaning deeper into the slow-burn, hypnotic grooves that made them a natural fit for festival crowds who cut their teeth on extended improvisational music. It's the kind of record that rewards headphone listening as much as it does a loud room, built on tension and space rather than flash.
Heavy, heady and hypnotic, All Them Witches concoct a powerful and potent psychedelic sound that fuses bluesy soul, Southern swagger and thunderous hard rock.
