Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums on on CD by the Jazz saxophonist. Includes the complete original Gene Ammons LPs Blue Groove and Preachin'. Both albums were recorded during April-May 1962 and feature Clarence Sleepy Anderson on organ or piano. Recorded the previous year, the song 'Namely You' (which also pairs Ammons with Anderson) has been added here as a bonus in order to include all existing recordings of Ammons with Anderson at the organ.
