Asher joins forces with one of India's best known master percussionists Sivamani. Having been thunderstruck by the virtuosity, playfulness, and magic of Sivamani's performance, whether on vast multi-percussion setups or found objects and kitchen utensils, Asher celebrates the highly colorful quality of this highly gifted percussionist with a range of evocative compositions. The music enjoys further enrichment by the vocals of luminary folk artist Christine Collister and the virtuosic Indian singer Mahesh Vinayakram. Sivamani has regularly performed at major national events worldwide, and especially with Oscar winning composer AR Rahman of Slumdog Millionaire fame.
