Red Army is a documentary film by Gabe Polsky, Executive Produced by Jerry Weintraub and Werner Herzog. The film premiered at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The film recounts the story of the most successful dynasty in sports history: The Red Army hockey team. Told from the perspective of it's captain Slava Fetisov, the story portrays his transformation from national hero to political enemy. Chris Beck (Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow) and Leo Birenberg wrote the music to the film. It's a sweeping score alternating quiet and reflexive with fast and high-energy moments.
