The Lord gave a vision to Deacon Shawn Brown to organize a gospel quartet group. In the year 2008, he created Shawn Brown & Da Boyz. The group was an instant success, as bookings poured in from all over the Country to hear the anointed and soulful sounds of the group. Since that time the group has been blessed to minister with some of the best in the industry such as: Rance Allen, Lee Williams, The Canton Spirituals, Doc McKenzie, The Williams Brothers, Lisa Knowles, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, and many others. In 2014, the group was blessed to secure a record deal with the legendary Malaco Records. The group was signed by none other than Mr. Darrell Luster. Since signing the band also signed with the Madizon Jones Group for management and SeKell's Entertainment for Booking Services.
