The Central Park concert series of the early '70s captured artists at their most unguarded, performing for massive crowds with an intimacy that studio recordings rarely touch. King had already reshaped popular music through her Brill Building collaborations and the landmark *Tapestry*, and by the time she took that outdoor stage in 1973, these songs belonged to everyone who showed up.
Recorded live on The Great Lawn of New York City's Central Park on May 26, 1973. Produced by Lou Adler, Carole King Home Again is a previously unreleased concert recording and a stunning document of one of the greatest contributors to the American songbook.
