Hearing it remixed from the original analog tapes, with Tolliver's own hands shaping the sound decades later, closes a circle that began when he was barely old enough to call himself a veteran.
The debut album from trumpeter and Strata-East co-founder Charles Tolliver. Charles assembles a who's who of jazz royalty - Gary Bartz, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Joe Chambers - backing the 26-year-old composer, showcasing his unmatched creativity and control of his instrument. Remixed by Charles to enhance the original intent of the recording, this edition features audio cut directly from the original analog tapes.
