Both were written before Chopin was 20, although by this time he was already recognized as one of Poland's great national composers. In a remarkable career spanning many decades, Marek Drewnowski has not only performed at concerts worldwide, and made many recordings, particularly of works by Chopin, but has also had success as an actor, film producer, music festival founder, music professor and conductor.
