Clarksdale, Mississippi has been sending blues prophets north for over a century, but Christone Ingram, born in 1999, came up in the age of Instagram and still chose to plant his feet in the Delta. Named for the local area code, 662 doubles down on that geographic identity, with Ingram drawing a direct line from the crossroads mythology of his hometown to a sound that's unmistakably his own generation's.
