Turn up the volume and enter the dark, powerful world of Danzig – Danzig 4, the legendary 1994 studio album that pushed the boundaries of heavy metal, gothic rock, and dark blues-inspired music! Packed with crushing guitar riffs, haunting melodies, thunderous rhythms, and Glenn Danzig's unmistakable vocals, this essential vinyl LP captures one of the most adventurous and atmospheric chapters in the band's extraordinary career.

Originally released on October 4, 1994, through American Recordings, Danzig 4, also known as Danzig 4P, marked the band's fourth studio album and an important evolution of their signature sound. Produced by Glenn Danzig and Rick Rubin, the album blends traditional heavy metal aggression with experimental arrangements, industrial influences, and dark, hypnotic musical textures.

Featuring 12 powerful tracks, including "Brand New God," "Little Whip," "Cantspeak," "Going Down to Die," "Until You Call on the Dark," "Dominion," "Bringer of Death," "Son of the Morning Star," and "I Don't Mind the Pain," this album delivers an unforgettable journey through some of Danzig's most intense and experimental recordings.

The explosive opening track "Brand New God" immediately establishes the album's crushing intensity, while "Little Whip" introduces a haunting combination of blues-inspired guitar work and sinister atmosphere. "Cantspeak" showcases the band's willingness to explore unconventional sounds, and "I Don't Mind the Pain" delivers the powerful vocals and dark melodies that made Glenn Danzig legendary.

Featuring guitarist John Christ, bassist Eerie Von, and drummer Chuck Biscuits alongside Glenn Danzig, this album represents the final studio release from the band's celebrated original lineup.

Building upon the musical legacy of Danzig, Danzig II: Lucifuge, and Danzig III: How the Gods Kill, this recording takes the band's distinctive combination of blues, heavy metal, and gothic atmosphere into darker and more experimental territory.

This official vinyl reissue from American Recordings brings the album back to turntables with a classic black vinyl pressing, gatefold jacket, and printed inner sleeve, offering an excellent physical presentation of this influential 1990s metal recording.

Perfect for longtime Danzig fans, gothic metal enthusiasts, classic heavy metal collectors, and anyone who appreciates dark, powerful guitar-driven music, Danzig 4 deserves a place in every serious vinyl collection.

Released in 1994, Danzig 4 marks the final time metal’s “Evil Elvis” would croon alongside his eponymous outfit’s classic lineup of guitarist John Christ, bassist Eerie Von and drummer Chuck Biscuits. While still rooted in carnal gloom-blues (“Little Whip”) and Castrol-glugging moto-metal (“Brand New God”), 4 also finds the group getting extra experimental on tracks like “Cantspeak,” which oozes through the speakers with concentric guitar loops, distortion-blown moans and seedy, sensual synth blips. Horny nighttime music for metal heathens of all kinds, Danzig 4 is back on vinyl for the first time in thirty years.
