Dokken's late-'90s reunion brought Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Brown back together after years apart, and *Live From The Sun* captures that chemistry in a concert setting. Lynch's guitar work remains the engine here, the kind of technically precise yet raw hard rock playing that made the band a Sunset Strip touchstone. On colored vinyl, it's a fitting format for a band whose visual and sonic identity were always inseparable.
