Faroese singer Eivor Pálsdóttir has spent two decades building a sound that pulls equally from Nordic folk tradition and atmospheric electronic production, earning devoted listeners far outside her island home of roughly 50,000 people. *Slør* finds her singing in her native language, grounding these songs in the emotional directness that has always set her apart from more polished Scandinavian pop exports.
