Fred Tackett has been a cornerstone of Little Feat since 1977, bringing a fingerpicked fluency and melodic instinct that quietly shaped the band's post-Lowell George years. Scott Sharrard carried the Gregg Allman Band through its final chapter as lead guitarist and musical director, earning his stripes in the deep Southern tradition. Stripped down to acoustics, these two journeymen find the songs at the center of everything.
Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard are stepping out from the electric swamp boogie of Little Feat and hitting the road with a couple acoustic guitars, along with some great songs and stories. They'll be pulling material from Little Feat, their own songwriting catalogues, and their own history that include stints with everyone from Bob Dylan to The Gregg Allman Band. Fred Tackett is an American multi-instrumentalist and songwriter best known for his work with Little Feat. Hailing from Little Rock, AR, Tackett began his musical journey at a young age beginning with trumpet, drums, and guitar before expanding to mandolin, vocals, and other instruments.
