Acclaimed Lied singer Matthias Goerne is joined by pianist and DG exclusive artist Jan Lisiecki for a remarkable Beethoven recital. Though often eclipsed by his other compositions, Beethoven's Lieder are among his most intimate, poetic creations. The album features 14 Lieder including the Six Lieder, op. 48 cycle and Beethoven's most famous song, "An die ferne Geliebte."
