This self-produced album features a talented lineup of musicians: Yasushi Yamashita (el-bass, keys), Ittetsu Takemura (drums), and Kenji Furudate (guitar, vocals). Varying between solo, duo, and trio arrangements, Nakahata vividly weaves together Stanley Cowell's 'Equipoise,' George Cables' 'Helen's Song,' and Mary Lou Williams's 'Baby Man.
