Recorded in John's attic studio in 1964, "Hold Me" (originally a pop hit for PJ Proby), gets a frantic, uptempo facelift. With its stomping beat and blistering guitar solo, the track will appeal to folks who fancy the sounds coming out of the Pacific Northwest at that time: The Wailers, Sonics,et al.
