2010 three CD collection. Although Teddy Johnson was best-known for his Eurovision hit 'Sing Little Birdie' with his wife Pearl Carr, he was a prolific and popular recording artist during the '50s, making 30 singles for EMI, having learnt his trade with the dance bands of the late '40s and then been the original presenter of the sheet music chart show for Radio Luxembourg. This collection brings together on CD for the first time both sides of all of those EMI solo singles from the first half of the '50s, along with both sides of his unique transatlantic duet with Jo Stafford. As a special and highly collectable bonus, the anthology also includes all six sides of three early 45rpm medley EPs, featuring solo tracks from Teddy along with other artists, including his brother Bryan, the Beverley Sisters and one of the last recordings by the great Steve Conway.
