Jack Hanaway (Denis Leary the Ref) is a wannabe writer surviving as a piano player in a seedy lounge hoping to catch a break. When his detective friend Eddie (Michael Badalucco TV's "The Practice") offers Jack the opportunity to make a quick buck he jumps.
