Luke Hemmings, the award-winning singer and rhythm guitarist of 5 Seconds of Summer, brings you “boy”, his highly anticipated, second solo record.

The EP features the beautifully melancholic first single “Shakes”, giving listeners a glimpse into the layers of introspection Hemmings goes on to explore within the record. Second single “Close My Eyes”, with driving guitars and pulsing drums, describes the growing pains of navigating your late twenties. 

“boy” was recorded in New York with Grammy-nominated producer Sammy Witte (Harry Styles, SZA). It’s spacey and soft, sonically and lyrically towing the line of human experience, intertwining loneliness, movement, landscape and the city.
