"La Tristesse Durera" was a top 10 UK hit in 1993, a rare commercial peak for a band that always seemed to be fighting against its own accessibility. These Chemical Brothers and Ashley Beedle remixes capture a moment when Madchester's dancefloor energy and Britpop's guitar ambitions were still colliding.
This limited edition 12” single for Record Store Day 2020 is inspired by the original, extremely limited, white label release issued in 1994 and features remixes by the Chemical Brothers and Ashley Beedle.
