Creedence Clearwater Revival - Mardi Gras - Framed Vinyl Record

Released in 1972 on Fantasy Records, Mardi Gras stands as the final chapter of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s legendary run. Self-produced during a turbulent period, it marked a bold shift, with Stu Cook and Doug Clifford stepping into the spotlight alongside John Fogerty. The sepia-toned cover, echoing the spirit of New Orleans, sets the tone for an album that captures a band at a crossroads. Though polarizing, it features powerful farewells like “Someday Never Comes” and the hard-driving “Sweet Hitch-Hiker.”
