Contrabassist Mtys Szandai played with musicians like A. Shepp, D. Murray, H. Mann, Ch. Freeman, H. Drake, W. Parker, K. Rosenwinkel, G. Presencer or Ch. Potter, however, the listener is only intermittently brushed by the wind of these influences on this CD. Over the years Szandai has distilled a kind of musical essence from these inspirations, and now offers them to us in concentrated drops.
