Russell Jones was one of hip-hop's most genuinely unpredictable voices, and his 1999 sophomore album captured that chaos at full volume. Produced largely by the Neptunes at an early peak of their powers, the record found ODB operating in his own untethered universe, somewhere between raw street rap and pure performance art. A document of an artist who simply could not be contained.
