Mondo Cane is a cult film-documentary from 1962, film was a great international success, giving life to a real cinematic strand of sensationalist documentaries, which took the name of Mondo-Movie. The soundtrack by Riz Ortolani and Nino Oliviero had a particular success too. Innovative and modern, with it's finest cinematic feel that spans from jazz to exotica and orchestral themes, it won a Grammy and was nominated for the Oscar in 1963.
