Les Claypool's bass-as-lead-instrument philosophy reaches a kind of peak absurdism on this 1995 release, where funk-metal grooves and Claypool's carnivalesque storytelling collide with the locked-in rhythmic chemistry he'd built with drummer Tim Alexander and guitarist Larry LaLonde. Originally landing at a moment when Primus were one of the most genuinely strange bands to ever crack mainstream rock radio, this reissue gives the record the vinyl treatment it deserved all along.
Primus’ gold-certified fourth studio album is reissued on 2LP for the first time since 1995, presented with brand new cover art. Features one of the band’s biggest singles – ‘Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver’. Package includes a digital download card.
