Raffi recorded "Singable Songs for the Very Young" in 1976, and what came out of those sessions wasn't just a children's record but a foundational document of how folk-rooted music could speak directly to kids without talking down to them. The orange vinyl pressing feels right for an album that's spent five decades living in the hands of families who've passed it from one generation to the next, its songs worn in like a favorite flannel shirt.
Released to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of legendary children’s musician and global troubadour Raffi’s first album Singable Songs for the Very Young comes this fun Orange colored eco-friendly LP edition. Made from non-toxic, fully recyclable material the album features children’s favorites “Down By The Bay,” ”Mr Sun” and much more. For generations Raffi has been the world's best-selling and most influential children's entertainers, with 15 Million album sales and nearly 1 Billion streams.
