Katy Guillen & The Girls - Remember What You Knew Before (CD)
Barcode: 888295658232

Kansas Citys Katy Guillen & the Girls have been hailed as a salient force across the country. Taking cues from guitar behemoths like Jimi Hendrix, visionary songwriters like Patty Griffin, and roots-rock revivalists like Heartless Bastards, they explore the roots of blues, country and folk. With their third album, REMEMBER WHAT YOU KNEW BEFORE, the trio revisits material from previous releases, giving the songs a more acoustic treatment, tapping into the influences they've discovered as a group, creating fresh arrangements and lavish vocal harmonies while tightening the focus on Guillen's refined songcraft.
