2018 release. Bishop Leonard Scott is the co-founder of Tyscot Records, the nation's oldest black-owned and operated gospel music recording company. A pillar in the gospel music community, in 2017 Bishop Scott was inducted into the Stellar Honors Hall of Fame and received the Gospel Music Association Legacy Award. Jesus Love Legacy is arguably his best work! Scott teamed up with some notable names to put together this twelve song release. Most of the songs were penned by Bishop Scott; however, the hot first single "Working In My Favor", which features Fred Hammond, Shirley Murdock and Jereal V. Gray & New Direction, was penned by Phillip Feaster and hit song writer Tiffany 'Tiff Joy' McGhee who wrote "Amazing" which was the 2016 BMI Gospel Song of the Year. Other noteworthy tracks include the bouncy, soulful and energy laced "Power In The Name" featuring Rance Allen and Kevin Vassar, and the beautiful medley entitled "Hymns (Draw Me Nearer/I Surrender All)" (an amalgamation of the classic songs Draw Me Nearer and I Surrender All); this song was arranged with only vocal and piano and is fated to become a listener favorite in moments of meditation and reflection.
