UK pressing of the 2010 release from the Canadian Indie Folk Rockers. Surface Of Atlantic started back in 2005, with Montreal jam sessions that eventually gave birth to a first album in 2007. The band gathered a loyal crowd throughout the years with their unique concerts that included nine musicians on stage and projections of abstract and dreamy visuals. A Frame Per Season is a beautiful orchestral pop record of grand melodies. Their music is a blend of Folk, cinematic ambiances and Indie Rock. The band has been compared in the past to Pink Floyd, Beck and Sigur Ros for their experimental musicianship.
