Sweet Tooth is part of a growing Richmond scene that has quietly become one of the more fertile grounds for hazy, guitar-driven indie rock on the East Coast. Guppy arrives as a document of a band finding its footing between two worlds, carrying the isolation of mountain life into the humid density of a city still defining its own sound.

Sweet Tooth unveils their debut EP Guppy, a 7-track indie shoegaze beacon rising out of the band's foggy Appalachian origins in West Virginia. The album was written during singer Maya Deal's senior year of college before ultimately relocating the band to Richmond, Virginia. Themes of change and transition are explored via syrupy sweet vocals, the atmospheric fuzz of guitars, and a driving backbeat.
