Canadian post-grunge arrived with a particular kind of controlled fury on this 2003 debut, the record that introduced Adam Gontier's distinctive voice to rock radio and put songs like "I Hate Everything About You" and "Just Like You" into heavy rotation for years. Three Days Grace came out of Norwood, Ontario with something to prove, and the raw, unpolished edge of this first LP captures a band finding the sound that would define early-2000s hard rock.
