Originally released in 1989 on the Rough Trade label, this album has been out of print for well over a decade. Gretchen Phillips, Kathy Korniloff and Laurie Freelove were the members of Two Nice Girls at the time (Freelove left the group after the album's release) and this is the album that started the road to stardom for the Girls. And introduced the world to the infamous "I Spent My Last $10 (On Birth Control and Beer)." Other highlights include an amazing version of Lou Reed's "Sweet Jane" mixed with Joan Armatrading's "Love and Affection," "My Heart Crawls Off" and "Heaven on Earth."
