Cello and percussion - "my favorite instruments!" - is how almost all composers respond, when Umeduo from Sweden asks them to write for them. Since the duo has been founded in 2008, numerous compositions where created for the two sisters. Seven of them found their way on this CD. Seven personalities - seven musical languages, from spiritual meditations to icy harmonies, from rough scrapes to delicate soundscapes. A view on Umeduo's journey so far: musically, geographically, and aesthetically. Umeduo is Karolina hman (cello) and Erika hman (percussion).
