Born and raised in East Harlem, Victor Manuelle emerged in the mid-1990s as one of salsa's most compelling young voices, mentored by Gilberto Santa Rosa and quickly earning his place among the genre's elite interpreters. His self-titled debut set the foundation for a career that would span decades of romantic salsa dominance, showcasing the smooth, emotive tenor that became his signature. For fans of the New York-Puerto Rican tradition, this is where the story starts.
