This 1974 instrumental gem highlights Little Beaver's original deep funk grooves alongside soulful reinterpretations of Al Green, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, and George Gershwin. Featuring the standout track " A Tribute To Wes" , which was later sampled by J Dilla for Slum Village's Conant Gardens, Black Rhapsody bridges the gap between funk and modern hip-hop, in uencing artists like Jay-z and People Under The Stairs.
