Holdypaws captures the band in an early, rawer form, before they refined that collision into the tighter, weirder machine they'd become, making this first-ever vinyl pressing an essential document for anyone tracing how one of indie rock's most singular voices actually developed.
Holdypaws is Deerhoof's third album, originally released on CD in 1999. Now it has been remastered, resequenced, and pressed on vinyl for the first time to celebrate it's 20-year anniversary (and 25-year anniversary of the band s formation)! Pitchfork once called Deerhoof the best band in the world.
