The classic 1978 duet album from "Father of Disco" Giorgio Moroder and singer- songwriter Chris Bennett. Features a powerhouse lineup of Munich Machine session legends including Harold Faltermeyer and Keith Forsey. Fully remastered edition in a deluxe digipack with liner notes. Stereo. Total playing time 33.53 minutes. Whilst the legendary Giorgio Moroder's work with Donna Summer defined the era, his 1978 collaboration with American singer Chris Bennett, Love's In You, Love's In Me, is a fascinating gem from his prolific catalogue. Illinois-born Bennett, originally a fledgling jazz singer and accomplished choreographer, was personally selected by Moroder to front the Munich Machine. After her successful feature on their 1978 album A Whiter Shade Of Pale, she went on to become a fully-fledged contributor and songwriter for Neil Bogart's Casablanca Records stable of creatives, writing and producing for The Three Degrees, Suzi Lane, and the final Munich Machine album, Body Shine. Recorded at Musicland Studios in Munich and Westlake Audio in Los Angeles, Love's In You, Love's In Me's tracks are propelled by Moroder's innovative use of the Minimoog and vocoder, as demonstrated on both 'I Can't Wait' and 'Love Now, Hurt Later,' and the album naturally features brilliant contributions from his regular stable of collaborators including Harold Faltermeyer and drummer Keith Forsey. Upon it's original release, the title track entered the UK Record Mirror Disco Chart in August 1978. Though the album took a more mainstream, pop-focussed approach than the 'four to the floor' approach dedicated disco fans of the era had anticipated, Love's In You, Love's In Me remains a cult classic from the 70s era, signalling where dance music would go in following decades.
