Why You Need It Now
Independent 2-LP vinyl releases can have considerably narrower physical distribution than mainstream records, and individual pressings may become increasingly difficult to locate once current inventory sells through. If All Set The Bone belongs in your collection, securing a factory-sealed copy while it's available can save you from hunting for this pressing later.
Order your Greg Freeman – All Set The Bone (2-LP Vinyl) Vinyl Record today while it's available and add this distinctive independent release to your vinyl collection!
Greg Freeman arrived in Los Angeles with fresh momentum and a restless pen, channeling the same unguarded instinct that made *Burnover* resonate so deeply into something rawer and more immediate. Recorded with producer John Congleton, whose work spans St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, and Swamp Dogg, *All Set The Bone* finds Freeman leaning into tension as a creative engine rather than something to smooth over.
Greg Freeman was barely done making his breakthrough album, Burnover, which was released to wide critical praise and landed in The New York Times Best Albums of 2025 list and received the coveted 'Best New Album' distinction from Pitchfork, when he started writing his new record All Set The Bone. On All Set The Bone, he embraces friction instead of refusing it, using scant rehearsal times and urgent, self-appointed deadlines, which was finished quickly, in a real Hollywood studio with one of rock's best modern architects, John Congleton. This 13 song double LP is housed in a gatefold and pressed on classic black vinyl, inclusive of a special belly band.
