Sahra Halgan is an emblematic artist from Somaliland, a territory situated in the north of Somalia, de facto independent since 1991 following a terrible civil war. Her songs explore the world of Somaliland's people, their sufferings and their joys. This CD+DVD set includes a film by Cris Ubermann, which explores the different stages of Sahrah's life thus far.
