On the occasion of his 60th birthday in 2020, Helmut Rogl composed his first symphony, which is given it's world premiere and first recording here by the orchestra of the Anton Bruckner University in Rogl's hometown of Linz under the baton of Manfred Mayrhofer. Music for brass and for strings rounds off this album, which impressively documents another facet of Rogl's broad musical oeuvre.
