Participating musicians are some of the finest California Blues and jazz musicians. Guitarists Phil Diiorio and Meir Shitrit. On Sax: Walter Gentry. Bass played by Jim reeves. On drums: Matthew Taylor. Irv Goldstein on Keyboard. Back up singer: Annette McGee The music is influenced by Blues, Rock and swing. Lyrics are witty, clever and humorous. When i started playing the drums at the age of 14, I played Rock N Roll, Folk, R&B & other genres of music. Later on I recognized the influence of Blues on modern music. I wanted to write music that is Blues influenced but also incorporates other genres. Sometimes we think of Blues music as melancholy and sad. I see it as a great way to communicate feelings. To me Blues Music is about the celebration of overcoming life's negative experiences and learning to deal with life and enjoy it. I wanted to create songs with upbeat rhythms, witty, humorous lyrics, and a little story with something to think about. I am excited to showcase the the talent of my great musician friends Phil, Matt, Jim, Walter, Meir, Annette and Irv Jacob Levy.
