Carlos Montoya, born at the turn of the 20th century, almost single-handedly introduced Flamenco music to audiences outside of Spain, raising it from mere folk music to an art form. His playing over the years was an ever-growing process, and how it developed over those years. This 1980 recording include some titles and favorite falsettos that features some of his best and beloved works.
