The Odessa-born pianist Boris Bloch uses this CD box set to lend weight to his desire to transcend the boundaries of human life through art in order to attain higher insights. The set includes 13 CDs with works by, among others, Scarlatti, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Tchaikovsky.
