Canada-born, Argentine-raised, and Brooklyn domiciled jazz trumpeter Michael Sarian presents his septet The Chabones (Argentine slang for "the dudes") on his ZOHO debut Leon, recorded in New Jersey in 2017. It features six colorful original compositions, employing Latin American rhythms, and referencing meaningful moments of his own personal history.
