The last Talking Heads studio album, recorded in Paris with an enormous cast of collaborators including musicians from Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, *Naked* captured the band pushing their polyrhythmic obsessions to their logical extreme just before the split became permanent. Nearly four decades later, hearing it on vinyl again is a reminder of how restless and genuinely strange this band remained right up until the end.
Naked, originally released in 1988 includes “(Nothing But) Flowers” and “Blind”. Reissued for the first time since the original release on Opaque Purple Vinyl.
