Recorded over two nights in March 1971, just months before Duane Allman's death, this document captures the band at the absolute peak of their improvisational power, with Duane and Dickey Betts trading leads that reshaped what a rock guitar duo could be. The interplay between the twin drummers, Butch Trucks and Jaimoe, gave the whole thing a rhythmic foundation unlike anything else happening in American music at the time.
This Allman Brothers classic comes home to Capricorn Records, sporting remastering from the original master tapes and packaging authentic to the original LP release (2 complete LPs on 1 CD).
